Despite losing the second leg of the semi-final at Seoul World Cup Stadium 2-1 on Wednesday, Jeonbuk progressed to the final with an aggregate 5-3 victory. Jeonbuk, leading 4-1 from September's first leg, were second best in the first half as Seoul cut the aggregate deficit to two goals when Carlos Adriano netted his record-equaling 13th goal of the tournament on 38 minutes. However, Ricardo Lopes leveled the scores on 59 minutes and although Ko Kwang-min added a late winner on the night for FC Seoul, Jeonbuk eased through to a third final in the tournament.
