Hanoi: Vietnam secured a 2-0 win over Timor Leste while Mongolia fought hard to defeat Macau 1-0 in their AFC U-16 Championship 2020 Qualifiers Group H ties on Saturday.

Nguyen Van Duong gave the young Golden Dragons the lead in the fifth minute before teammate Pham Van Phong doubled their advantage just before the half-hour mark.

Qualifiers - Group G: China PR, Philippines flex muscles

Jakarta: He Xioke and John Loyd Jalique led the way with hat-tricks as China PR and the Philippines registered 7-0 wins in their AFC U-16 Championship 2020 Qualifiers Group B ties on Saturday.

China defeated Brunei Darussalam while Philippines beat Northern Mariana Islands.

Dushanbe: Tajikistan completed a superb week on home soil, defeating Afghanistan 1-0 and confirming their status as CAFA U-16 Championship winners on Thursday.

A second-half strike from Abdulfatoh Khudoidodzoda ultimately sealed the title for Tajikistan, who won four matches in a row to finish the five-match programme on top of the table with 13 points.
