Yogyakarta: Indonesia were held to a goalless draw at home by Yemen in an international friendly at the Stadion Maguwoharjo on Tuesday.
With neither side having qualified for next year's AFC Asian Cup finals the two sides are focussing on their forthcoming regional tournaments with Indonesia gearing up for the AFF Suzuki Cup and Yemen taking part in the Gulf Cup of Nations, where they have been pooled in Group A alongside Australia 2015 qualifiers Bahrain, Qatar and Gulf Cup hosts Saudi Arabia.
Indonesia, who finished bottom of Group C in the Asian Cup qualifiers behind three-time continental champions Saudi Arabia, 2007 winners Iraq, and China, who scraped through as the best third-placed side, are next in action on Sunday when they host fellow AFF Suzuki Cup participants Malaysia in Sidoarjo.
Yemen, meanwhile, have no FIFA 'A' fixtures scheduled until they open their 2014 Gulf Cup of nations campaign on November 13 against Bahrain, who defeated them twice in Group D of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
