AFC suspends match official for attempted match-fixing

The Chairman of the Asian Football Confederation’s Disciplinary Committee has provisionally suspended Tajikistani referee Murtazoev Parviz for 30 days for actions related to match-fixing.

The investigation is ongoing and the AFC may extend the ban for further 20 days. The AFC has written to FIFA to ask for the suspension to be extended worldwide.
