Statement on Persipura Jayapura v Pahang FA AFC Cup Round of 16 fixture

Kuala Lumpur: The AFC Cup Round of 16 fixture between Indonesian club Persipura Jayapura and Pahang FA of Malaysia will not be played as scheduled at the Mandala Stadium, Jayapura, Indonesia on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 after some of the Pahang FA players were denied entry into Indonesia due to visa issues.

The AFC is in the process of gathering information from all relevant parties.

Once the investigation is concluded, a report will be submitted to the appropriate AFC Committees for a final decision.
