The Lebanon international defender, who despite only turning 23 in October is already a veteran of four AFC Cup campaigns for Safa, scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot with just six minutes remaining. The Super Cup victory was the second time this year that Safa saw off Shabab Al Sahel in the final of a major tournament after the 2008 AFC Cup runners-up defeated them 2-1 in the climax of the 201/13 Lebanese FA Cup back in June.
