Dhaka: Both Bangladesh and Australia sealed their places at the AFC U-16 Women's Championship 2017 on Saturday following a busy day of qualifying action.
With one round of games still to go, host nation Bangladesh took an unassailable lead at the top of Group C thanks to a 4-2 win over Chinese Taipei which helped them book their ticket to the finals.
Meanwhile, Australia rounded off their highly impressive qualifying campaign with a 9-1 defeat of Uzbekistan to finish top of Group D with five wins from their five matches.
