Female coaches and participants benefit from the online workshops of MAs

Kuala Lumpur: The Japan Football Association (JFA) and the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) underlined their commitment to women’s football development in their respective intensive online workshops held on Monday.

With the aim of strengthening the popularity of women’s football in Japan and developing female coaches for the newly established women’s league - Japan Women’s Empowerment Professional Football League (WE League), JFA initiated the Associate-Pro (A-Pro) License Coaching Course for female coaches to enhance their capabilities.

Singapore: Women’s football professionals from leading international federations and top leagues shared their insights on how women’s football in Asia continues to develop despite the impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in the webinar titled “Changing the game: Growing Women’s Football in Asia in the lead up to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup” on Thursday.

Designed and dedicated to promote the women’s game and to facilitate knowledge exchange, the webinar, which was organised by the Portas Asia Consulting (Portas), was divided into two sections – the Growth of Women’s Football: The European Story as well as the Panel discussion: Growing the game within Asia-Pacific federations.
