Qualifiers - Group B: Indonesia finish top in style

Yogyakarta: Indonesia topped Group B of the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup™ China 2025 Qualifiers with a perfect record after defeating Hong Kong, China 5-0 on Sunday.

Kyrgyz Republic, meanwhile, concluded their campaign with a last gasp 4-3 win against India.

Qualifiers - Group B: Kyrgyz Republic 0-4 Hong Kong, China; India 0-6 Indonesia

Yogyakarta: Hong Kong, China and Indonesia booked their spots in the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup™ China 2025 after defeating Kyrgyz Republic and India respectively in Group B of the Qualifiers on Friday.

With both teams on six points, they will meet on Sunday to decide the group winners.

Yogyakarta: Hong Kong, China and Indonesia produced sparkling displays to defeat India and Kyrgyz Republic respectively in their AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup™ China 2025 Qualifiers Group B openers on Wednesday.

Hong Kong cruised to an emphatic 5-0 win over India while Indonesia saw off the challenge of a spirited Kyrgyz Republic 11-3.

Bishkek: Islamic Republic of Iran’s journey in Group A of the AFC Asian Qualifiers™ – Road to 26 thus far has been one to cherish for head coach Amir Ghalenoei.

Tuesday’s 3-2 win against Kyrgyz Republic kept Team Melli top of the group on 16 points, three ahead Uzbekistan with United Arab Emirates a further three adrift.

With qualification to the FIFA World Cup 26 well within reach now, Ghalenoei was pleased to see the attacking strength of his side but admitted knows defensive improvements are a must.

Bishkek: Islamic Republic of Iran had to dig deep to overcome Kyrgyz Republic 3-2 in their AFC Asian Qualifiers™ – Road to 26 Group A clash on Tuesday to move closer to a place in the FIFA World Cup 26 Finals.

Leading 2-0 at the break, Iran had to withstand a Kyrgyz Republic fightback in the second half before Sardar Azmoun struck the winner to take them to 16 points as they stayed three clear at the top.
