Kuala Lumpur:  It is all systems go for the third and final round of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Qualifiers following the official draw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Monday.

The 24 teams were divided into six groups with only the group winners to advance to the Finals.

Al Wakrah: FC Ravshan stunned Qatar’s Al Wakrah 2-0 to end their AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 Group A campaign with a solitary win on Wednesday.

The Tajikistan side bowed out of the tournament after finishing third in the standings with Al Wakrah - on four points - having already confirmed their knockout stage spot ahead of the match.

Sharjah: Sharjah FC edged closer to the AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 knockout stage after defeating Tajikistan’s Istiklol 3-1 in their Group C tie on Tuesday.

The win took the Emirati side to 10 points as Istiklol suffered a fifth consecutive defeat.

Sharjah face Jordan's Al Wehdat next week while Istiklol will play Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan SC of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Group A - MD4: Tractor FC (IRN) 7-0 FC Ravshan (TJK)

Doha: Sokol Cikalleshi’s first half hat-trick powered Tractor FC to a 7-0 defeat of Tajikistan’s FC Ravshan on Wednesday as the side from the Islamic Republic of Iran booked their place in the knockout rounds of the AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25.

Amirhossein Hosseinzadeh also scored twice and Ricardo Alves netted from the penalty spot for Tractor after an own goal from Kholmurod Nazarov in the fourth minute sent the Iranians on their way to a comprehensive victory at Thani bin Jassim Stadium in Doha.

The win was Tractor’s third in a row in Group A and the result means Dragan Skocic’s outfit cannot finish outside the top two in the three-team group, with Ravshan still without a point from their three games to date. Qatar’s Al Wakrah are second in the standings.

Amman: Al Wehdat SC maintained their unbeaten run in the AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 after defeating FC Istiklol 1-0 in their Group C tie on Tuesday.

The win took the Jordanian side to 10 points and within striking distance of the knockout stage while Istiklol were eliminated with two matches to spare after suffering a fourth consecutive defeat.
