Kuala Lumpur: The draw for the final round of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Qualifiers was held at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Monday.

As the teams start preparing for what promises to be a thrilling campaign, the-AFC.com takes a look at the cast in Group D, E and F, with only the group winners to advance to the Finals.

Groups decided for Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers Final Round

Kuala Lumpur:  It is all systems go for the third and final round of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Qualifiers following the official draw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Monday.

The 24 teams were divided into six groups with only the group winners to advance to the Finals.

International Friendlies Wrap: Hong Kong, China shine; Singapore involved in thrillers

Kuala Lumpur: Several nations were involved in friendlies during the international break with Hong Kong, China continued showing progress under new head coach Ashley Westwood after an impressive 3-1 win over Philippines.

Singapore were involved in two five-goal thrillers - winning one and losing the other, Thailand played to two draws while Malaysia defeated Laos before battling to a stalemate with India.

Bangladesh retain title

Kathmandu: Defending champions Bangladesh won the SAFF Women’s Championship 2024, beating hosts Nepal 2-1 in the final played at the Dasharath Stadium Kathmandu on Wednesday.

The win saw Bangladesh lifting the title for a second time while it was Nepal's sixth runners-up finish.

Qualifiers - Group F: Japan 5-0 Qatar; Mongolia 1-0 Nepal

Doha: Japan cruised to the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025 Finals after defeating Qatar 5-0 in their Qualifiers Group F tie on Sunday.

Japan finished with a perfect tally of nine points and they will head to the Finals seeking a fifth title.

Mongolia, meanwhile, left it late to snatch a 1-0 win over Nepal to end their campaign on a high.

Doha: Japan and Qatar are set for a final day showdown after both won their AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025 Qualifiers Group F ties on Friday.

Qatar eased to a 5-0 win against Nepal while Japan were equally impressive in a 7-0 victory against Mongolia with both on maximum points after two matchdays.

Qualifiers - Group F: Qatar 2-0 Mongolia; Japan 9-2 Nepal

Doha: Qatar were made to work hard before securing a 2-0 win against Mongolia in their AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025 Qualifiers Group F match on Wednesday.

In the second game, Japan made light work of Nepal, securing a 9-2 win.

Qualifiers - Group B: Bahrain 4-0 Nepal; Chinese Taipei 1-3 Uzbekistan

New Taipei: Uzbekistan moved within a point of confirming their ticket to the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 Finals after a comprehensive 3-1 win against Chinese Taipei on Friday. 

The win took the Central Asian side to nine points and avoiding defeat against Bahrain - who revived their hopes with a 4-0 win against Nepal in the earlier tie on Friday - will confirm Uzbekistan as the group winners.
