Qualifiers - Group A: Bahrain edge Palestine to advance

Nonthaburi: Bahrain booked their place at the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup™ China 2025 after they produced a stirring comeback to defeat Palestine 3-1 to advance as the Group A runners-up on Sunday.

Bahrain finished on seven points after an impressive campaign to take their place among Asia’s best at the Finals.

Thailand, meanwhile, concluded their perfect campaign by defeating Lebanon 4-0.

Group B: Palestine 1-1 Korea Republic

Amman: Son Heung-min was on target as Korea Republic fought back from going behind to an early Zeid Qunbar goal to maintain their hold on top spot in Group B of the AFC Asian Qualifiers™ – Road to 26 despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Palestine in Amman on Thursday.

Son struck in the 16th minute to cancel out Qunbar’s opener from four minutes earlier as the Koreans remained unbeaten in the group, with the result moving Hong Myung-bo’s side onto 14 points from six matches.

Palestine, who also drew with the Koreans in the nations’ opening game of the third phase of qualifying in Seoul in September, remain bottom of the standings with Makram Daboub’s side picking up their third point of the campaign.
