Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC beat Shanghai SIPG FC to end AFC Champions League campaign on a high

Doha: Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors bowed out of the 2020 AFC Champions League on a high after beating Shanghai SIPG 2-0 in Group H at the Khalifa International Stadium on Friday.

The K League 1 champions had already been consigned to a group stage exit, having collected just four points from their previous five matches, while three wins in five were enough for Vitor Perreira’s Shanghai SIPG to join group leaders Yokohama F. Marinos in the next round.

Doha: Yokohama F. Marinos were confirmed as Group H winners as their 2020 AFC Champions League clash with eliminated Sydney FC finished in a 1-1 draw at Al Janoub Stadium on Friday.
