Myanmar’s Shan United sign Nigerian striker Raphael Success

Yangon: Defending Myanmar National League champions Shan United have boosted their squad with the signing of Nigerian striker Raphael Success on a one-year deal. 

The former Ayeyarwady United marksman will link up with other new Shan United signings Thiha Zaw, Soe Lwin Lwin, Kyaw Zaw Lwin and Than Paing in a bid to win their third consecutive league title.

Lion City Sailors roar into new year with record Diego Lopes signing

Singapore: Lion City Sailors have pulled off a transfer coup, securing Brazilian attacking midfielder Diego Lopes from Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit Rio Ave as one of two major signings confirmed on Wednesday.

In what is believed to me the first multi-million-dollar player purchase in Singaporean football, the club announced a transfer fee of €1.8 million - roughly 3.3 million Singapore dollars - for the Benfica youth product.

Joining Lopes is defender Jorge Felipe, also from Brazil, who arrives following a stint with Saudi second-tier outfit Al Tai FC.
