Preview - Group G: Ratchaburi in the way as Pohang Steelers chase AFC Champions League top spot

Bangkok: Sek-san Siripong’s Ratchaburi FC are aiming to put a dent in Pohang Steelers’ hopes of finishing top of Group G when they clash in the 2021 AFC Champions League on Sunday.

The Thailand side slipped to a 2-0 defeat against the K League outfit on Matchday One, but will be hoping that history will not repeat itself at the Rajamangala Stadium.

Ratchaburi, who are already eliminated, sit bottom of the Group G standings and have yet to earn a point from four outings in their maiden AFC Champions League campaign.

Tashkent: Beijing FC coach Zoran Jankovic was critical of his side’s performance as they slumped to a 5-0 defeat against Daegu FC on Matchday Three of the 2021 AFC Champions League on Friday.

Brazilian duo Edgar Silva and Cesinha had a brace each, with Oh Hu-seong rounding off the five-star display to propel the Korean side to a second consecutive win.
