China PR squandered a 3-1 lead to settle for a share of the points to just keep their hopes of advancing to the quarter-finals alive with their final match against the Netherlands on Tuesday to decide their fate. The Dutch drew 3-3 with Brazil on Saturday.

China PR and Zambia went into the tie desperate to bounce back from opening day defeats to Brazil and Netherlands respectively with head coach Jia Xiuquan making just one change to the Steel Roses side that lost 5-0 against the South Americans.
