AFC Club Licensing Annual Seminar 2022 concludes successfully

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) organised the AFC Club Licensing Annual Seminar for 2022 with 57 participants from 38 Member Associations (MAs), gathering to discuss and learn about the latest updates. 

The two-day seminar commenced on September 22 with opening remarks from the AFC General Secretary Datuk Seri Windsor John after which, the Competitions and Football Events Division Deputy Director, Avazbek Berdikulov provided a succinct overview of AFC competitions.

Tajikistan defeat Malaysia to lift King's Cup; Thailand finish third

Chiangmai: Tajikistan emerged champions of the 48th King's Cup with a 3-0 penalty shootout win over Malaysia after the final ended 0-0 on Sunday.

Tajikistan goalkeeper Rustam Jatimov was the hero with two saves, with the third Malaysian effort hitting the crossbar at the 700th Anniversary Stadium in Chiangmai. 

Hosts Thailand edged Trinidad & Tobago 2-1 to finish third.
