AFC Certificate in Football Leadership graduates poised to advance growth of Asian football

Kuala Lumpur: The latest batch of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Certificate in Football Leadership (ACFL) participants took a giant step towards further uplifting Asian football when they graduated on Tuesday from the second edition of the Confederation’s landmark education-first initiative.

Now equipped with the requisite perspective, processes and tools that define exemplary leaders, these graduates will set their sights on using their new capabilities to complement their respective organisations’ drive to move world football forward.

Kuala Lumpur: The latest edition of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)’s landmark Knowledge Sharing Programme (KSP) commenced today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The ninth iteration will feature a candidate representing The Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU), who will be mentored by the AFC’s experts from the Technical Division from 4 to 22 November 2024.

AFC Certificate in Football Leadership welcomes second batch of future decision-makers

Kuala Lumpur: Following the overwhelming response to the inaugural edition, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) today launched the 2nd AFC Certificate in Football Leadership (ACFL) programme to enhance the ever-growing pool and capabilities of future Asian football decision-makers.

As part of the Confederation’s landmark AFC Academic Centre of Excellence (ACE)’s expanding repertoire of online programmes, the six-month-long initiative will see 36 decision-makers from AFC Member Associations (MAs), Regional Associations (RAs) and other football stakeholders follow in the footsteps of the graduates of the first edition, to further elevate the standards of football leadership on the Continent

AFC Grassroots Charter welcomes SAFF as latest gold member

Kuala Lumpur: The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) became the 10th AFC Member Association (MA) to be awarded a Gold-level membership under the AFC Grassroots Charter, in recognition of its outstanding commitment to grassroots football development.

During a visit to the Kingdom earlier this month, the AFC grassroots assessors met with officials, visited training centres, and observed a robust programme supported by long-term collaborative projects between the SAFF and regional stakeholders and government bodies, including the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Sports.
