Kuala Lumpur: The journey continues for the eight remaining teams in the AFC Challenge League™ 2024/25 on Wednesday, March 5 when the Knockout Stage kicks off.

Having battled past 10 other sides to come through the Group Stage, they will contest their first-leg ties of the Quarter-finals in the quest for glory in the new third-tier Continental men’s competition.

Saudi Arabia lead AFC Men’s Club Competitions Mid-Season Ranking 2024/25

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) today released the AFC Men’s Club Competitions Mid-Season Ranking 2024/25, with Saudi Arabia continuing to lead the way.

With a total of 109.054 points to their name, the chart-toppers are followed by Japan and Korea Republic in second and third place respectively.

Kuala Lumpur: Excitement is building as fans prepare for the resumption of the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2024/25, AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 and AFC Challenge League™ 2024/25.

February will see the conclusion of the league stage of the ACL Elite League Stage while the ACL 2 will enter the knockout rounds. The quarter-finals of the AFC Challenge League will be contested in March.

With the registration window for new players open, teams are expected to make changes and the-AFC.com explains just what can be expected ahead of the competitions resuming.

Kuala Lumpur: The quarter-finalists for the AFC Challenge League™ 2024/25 were confirmed following the conclusion of the group stage on Saturday.

Advancing from the West Zone were India's East Bengal (Group A winners), Turkmenistan's FC Arkadag (Group B), Oman's Al Seeb Club (Group C) and Kuwait's Al Arabi (Group B - best runners-up).

The qualifiers from the East Zone were Group D winners Shan United FC of Myanmar and runners-up Tainan City FC of Chinese Taipei while Indonesia's Madura United topped Group E ahead of Cambodia's Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC.

Group D: Stalemate fails to stop Shan United

Yangon: Myanmar’s Shan United FC were held to a 2-2 draw by Tainan City FC of Chinese Taipei but still emerged as the Group D winners of the AFC Challenge League™ 2024/25 on Saturday.

By finishing top, Shan set up a quarter-final meeting with Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng of Cambodia while Tainan will face Indonesia’s Madura United.

Ulaanbaatar: Indonesia’s Madura United edged Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng of Cambodia 2-1 in their AFC Challenge League™ 2024/25 F Group E tie at the MFF Stadium on Saturday.

Madura topped the group with four points with Svay Reing one adrift as both advanced to the quarter-finals.
