Sydney: Sydney FC have added some attacking firepower to their squad for the A-League 2018/19 Season with the signing of former English Premier League striker Adam Le Fondre.
The 31-year-old hitman has signed a multi-year deal with the Sky Blues after he was released by English Championship outfit Bolton Wanderers.
Le Fondre plays as a centre forward and will be tasked with taking the place of 2017-18 A-League golden boot winner Bobo, who struck 27 goals in 28 games as the Sky Blues stormed to the Premiers Plate by 14 points.
It's a big signing for new boss Steve Corica ahead of the club's FFA Cup clash in Cairns on Tuesday .
Le Fondre rose to fame by scoring 12 goals for Reading in his maiden Premier League season in 2012-13.
He won the Royals' Player of the Season Award during that campaign, as well as their first ever Premier League Player of the Month award.
