Kuala Lumpur: After the conclusion of the AFC Champions League™ 2022 we asked you, the fans of Asian football, to vote for your Best XI from the 20th edition of the continental competition. 

After reaching a third final in the past four years, players from Al Hilal SFC feature heavily once more, while there are plenty of other star performers from across the continent. 
 
Below are the 11 players voted into the all-star team on the-AFC.com after another memorable edition of Asia’s most prestigious club tournament that saw Urawa Red Diamonds crowned champions for the third time.

Teams set for final #U20WAC qualifying hurdle

Kuala Lumpur: Eight teams will converge on Southeast Asia this week to continue their quest to reach the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup™ Uzbekistan 2024 (March 3 to 16).

The second and final round of Qualifiers for the 11th edition of the tournament will be held in Vietnam and Myanmar – the centralised hosts for Groups A and B respectively.

Al Foutoua end 32-year wait for Syrian Premier League crown

Damascus: Al Foutoua clinched the Syrian Premier League title with a match to spare following their 4-1 win over Al Majd on Tuesday.

Forward Alaa Al Dali scored twice to lead the Deir ez-Zor-based side to their third league title with their last win dating back 32 years ago when they clinched consecutive crowns in the 1990-91 seasons.

Europe Wrap: Kumagai, Kerr claim league titles

Kuala Lumpur: Japanese defender Saki Kumagai scored a hat-trick in her farewell match for Bayern Munich as an 11-1 win over Turbine Potsdam secured the women’s league title in Germany for the Bavarians while her compatriot Takuma Asano scored and assisted to help VfL Bochum beat Bayer Leverkusen and escape relegation in the Bundesliga.  

Sam Kerr bagged a brace as Chelsea defeated Reading 3-0 on Saturday to win their fourth consecutive Women’s Super League title in England while Islamic Republic of Iran captain Ehsan Hajsafi helped AEK Athens dispatch PAOK in the Greek Cup final and complete a domestic double.
