Qarshi: Kuwait SC came from behind to beat PFC Nasaf 2-1 in their AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 Group D match on Wednesday.

The win, however, was not enough for Kuwait SC after UAE's Shabab Al Ahli defeated Jordan's Al Hussein 3-2 in the later match, with both teams advancing to the knockout stage.

Amman: Munas Dabbar’s injury time lob earned Shabab Al Ahli a come-from-behind 3-2 win over hosts Al Hussein from Jordan on Wednesday as Paulo Sousa’s side booked their place in the knockout rounds of the AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 .

Yousef Abu Jalboush and Mahmoud Al Mardi scored in the fifth and 15th minutes respectively for the hosts but strikes from Sardar Azmoun and Renan pulled their side level before substitute Dabbar broke Al Hussein’s resistance a minute into stoppage time.

That means Shabab Al Ahli move to the top of Group D with 10 points and into the next round while Al Hussein also progress despite the defeat as a result of Kuwait SC’s win over Nasaf earlier in the day.

Dubai: Islamic Republic of Iran’s Tractor FC fought back to hold Qatar’s Al Wakrah 3-3 in Group A of the AFC Champions League™ 2024/25 at the Rashid Stadium on Wednesday.

The result meant Al Wakrah joined Tractor FC in the knockout stage with the Qatar side to play Tajikistan’s FC Ravshan in their concluding tie next week.

Ashgabat: Air Force Club kept their hopes of a place in the knockout rounds of the AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 alive on Wednesday as the Iraqi side handed Turkmenistan’s already-eliminated Altyn Asyr a 2-0 defeat in Ashgabat.

The result moves Wesam Rizik’s side onto nine points from five games and maintains their challenge for a top two finish in Group B ahead of their final group match against Saudi Arabia’s Al Taawoun in Baghdad next week.

Ahmet Atayew’s seventh minute own goal gave the visitors the lead and Hiran Azad doubled the advantage in the 31st minute as Air Force secured their third win in the group phase having also previously defeated the Yokary Liga side in September’s opening round of matches.

First half goals from Lucas Silva, To Van V and Rafaelson put the match beyond Lee Man’s reach as Nam Dinh moved to 11 points to confirm their spot with a match to spare.

They meet Bangkok United next week to decide the group winners, with the Thai side also having booked their ticket to the next round.

Singapore: Tampines Rovers of Singapore defeated Thailand’s Bangkok United 1-0 but it wasn’t enough as they exited the AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 on Wednesday.

The win put Tampines on seven points, three behind Bangkok but the Thai side were assured of their knockout stage berth due to a superior head-to-head record - having beaten the Singaporean outfit 4-2 in the reverse fixture. 

Bangkok meet Nam Dinh FC next week to decide the group winners, with the Vietnamese side also having confirmed qualification after a 3-0 win over Hong Kong’s Lee Man.
