Palembang: Australia emerged champions of the AFF Under-18 Women’s Championship 2022 after beating Vietnam 2-0 in the final at the Gelora Jakabaring Stadium on Thursday.

Beirut: The Lebanese Football Association have appointed Serbia's Aleksandar Ilic to lead the men's national team on a three-year contract.

The 53-year-old, who arrives in Beirut next week, replaces CzechIvan Hasek who took charge of The Cedars in 2021 and helped Lebanon reach the Final Round of the AFC Asian Qualifiers - Road to Qatar™ and qualify for the AFC Asian Cup™ 2023.

Morgan takes charge of Young Socceroos

Sydney: Trevor Morgan will spearhead Australia's bid to qualify for the AFC U20 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2023™ after being named head coach on Wednesday.

Morgan guided Australia to a fourth place finish in the recent AFC U23 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2022™ and will continue playing a role after being named as assistant coach to Tony Vidmar's Olyroos. He will also maintain his involvement in the ongoing identification and development of emerging men’s footballers.
