Group C: Ten-man Hilal Alquds deny Tishreen

Muharraq: Syria’s Tishreen and Hilal Alquds of Palestine settled for share of points after playing out to a 0-0 draw in their AFC Cup 2022™ Group C match on Wednesday.

Tishreen were unable to defeat a 10-man Hilal Alquds side, after Musa Al Tarbin was sent off in the second half as both sides shared the spoils.

Kolkata: A Nuha Marong goal proved decisive as Bashundhara Kings opened their AFC Cup™ 2022 campaign with a 1-0 win over Maziya Sports & Recreation Club at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium on Wednesday.

The Gambian striker’s opportunistic header 12 minutes before half-time gave the Bangladesh Premier League leaders their second win over Maziya in as many seasons and took them a step closer to achieving their goal of reaching the knockout stage for the first time.
