Bangkok: Defending champions Mes Sungun Varseqan and Nagoya Oceans showed their class in their Group D opening matches at the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Thursday.
Mes Sungun began their title defence in style with a convincing 8-2 win over debutants Kazma SC of Kuwait at the Bangkok Arena.
The Islamic Republic of Iran club lead the Group D standings by a superior goal difference over three-time champions Nagoya Oceans, who came back from a goal down to defeat United Arab Emirates’ Al Dhafra 4-2.

Bangkok: AGMK FC of Uzbekistan bounced back in style from their opening day loss to defeat Iraq’s Naft Al Wasat 5-3 in Group B of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Friday.
Naft Al Wasat, who defeated Qatar’s Al Rayyan 9-4 in their opening match, pressured AGMK early on when Salim Faisal fired his shot into the side netting following a set-piece situation.
AGMK, however, were equally adept in attack and Ikhtiyor Ropiev - who went on to score a hat-trick - forced a save from Naft Al Wasat goalkeeper Yahya Abdulnoor in the third minute with a long-range effort.

Bangkok: Kygryz Republic’s FC Erem revived their AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 hopes after scoring a hard-fought 5-3 win over Star FS Seoul of Korea Republic in Group A action on Friday.
Erem dominated play from the start as they looked to bounce back from their 8-3 loss to Shenzhen Nanling Tielang in their opening match.
The Kygryz Republic club opened their account in the fourth minute when goalkeeper Farid Soheili sent a long pass to an unmarked Azamat Mendibaev who scored from a header.

Bangkok: Vamos FC and Bank of Beirut were made to sweat but walked away with wins in their Group C opening matches at the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Thursday.
Vamos had their backs against the wall against Soro Company, who fought back from four goals down to level the tie but Dennis Guna Bawana broke the deadlock which spurred Vamos to a 6-4 victory at the Bangkok Stadium.
Reza Fallahzadeh’s side lead the Group C standings on goal difference ahead of Lebanon’s Bank of Beirut, who collected three points from their 4-2 win over Victoria University College.

Bangkok: Defending champions Mes Sungun Varseqan of Islamic Republic of Iran cruised to an 8-2 victory over Kuwait’s Kazma SC in Group D of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Thursday.
Mes Sungun raced off the blocks as they utilised a high pressing game against Kazma, who are making their first appearance in the competition.
The Kuwaiti side, however, were quick on the counter-attack as they kept Mes Sungun on their toes and were always a danger going forward.

Bangkok: Lebanon’s Bank of Beirut had to fight hard before seeing off Myanmar’s Victoria University College 4-2 in Group C of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Thursday.
Bank of Beirut had the lion’s share of possession from the start and they took just two minutes to find the back of the net.
Dragan Tomic got the ball rolling when his low drive from the edge of the area forced Victoria goalkeeper Pyae Phyo Aung into a save but the custodian spilled the ball onto the path of Ali Tneich who had the easiest of tap-ins.

Bangkok: Iraq’s Naft Al Wasat and Thai Son Nam of Vietnam showed they are contenders after recording emphatic victories in their opening matches at the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Wednesday.
Naft Al Wasat flexed their muscles against Qatar’s Al Rayyan, as Angellott Alexander Garces’ four-goal haul powered them in their 9-4 victory at the Bangkok Stadium.
The Iraq club lead the Group B standings ahead of last year’s runners-up Thai Son Nam, who also recorded a commanding 4-1 win over Uzbekistan’s AGMK.
