Wuhan: Korea Republic’s Hyundai Steel Red Angel Women’s FC sealed their AFC Women's Champions League™ 2024/25 quarter-final berth after defeating Wuhan Jiangda Women’s FC of China PR 2-0 in their final Group A tie on Wednesday.

The win meant Red Angel topped Group A with seven points, two better than UAE’ Abu Dhabi Country Club with Wuhan Jiangda now reliant on results elsewhere to see if they can progress as one of the two best third-placed finishers.

A first half goal from Zahra Ghanbari kept Bam Khatoon ahead until added but Joyce Onrubia equalised in the fourth minute of added time to take home a share of the spoils.

The result secured Kaya a second point while Bam Khatoon earned their first.
