Qualifiers - Group D: Vietnam fight back to pip Chinese Taipei

Yangon: Vietnam came from behind to hold Chinese Taipei to a thrilling 2-2 draw in their AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup Qualifiers Group D match at the MFF Futsal Indoor Stadium on Sunday.

The stalemate meant Vietnam topped the group ahead of Chinese Taipei on goal difference with both teams completing their respective campaigns with seven points.

Qualifiers - Group D: Macau 0-21 Vietnam; Myanmar 0-4 Chinese Taipei

Yangon: Vietnam and Chinese Taipei sealed their spots at the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup™ China 2025 following wins over Macau and Myanmar respectively in their Group D ties on Friday.

The two will meet on Sunday to decide the group winners while Myanmar will face Macau with both already eliminated.

Yangon: Chinese Taipei and Vietnam impressed as they began their AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup™ China 2025 Qualifiers Group D campaign with victories against Macau and Myanmar respectively on Wednesday.

Chinese Taipei cruised to an 18-0 win against Macau while Vietnam defeated Myanmar 5-1.

Preliminary: Hong Kong, China to meet Guam in final

Hong Kong: Guam and Hong Kong, China will meet in the 2025 EAFF E-1 Football Championship Preliminary final after topping their respective groups on Saturday.

Guam defeated Macau 2-1 to top the two-team Group A while Hong Kong, China defeated Chinese Taipei with the same score line to finish as the Group B winners with a perfect record of six points.

Qualifiers - Group B: Bangladesh 7-0 Macau; Cambodia 1-3 Afghanistan

Phnom Penh: Afghanistan defeated Cambodia 3-1 on Friday to move within touching distance of the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025.

The win took Afghanistan to nine points in Group B of the Qualifiers, with the Central Asian side only needing a draw against Bangladesh -who defeated Macau 7-0 - when the two sides meet on Sunday.

Phnom Penh: Afghanistan boosted their chances of qualifying for the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025 after cruising 9-0 past Afghanistan in their Qualifiers Group B tie on Wednesday.

Bangladesh edged Philippines 1-0 in the other Group B fixture.

Phnom Penh: Afghanistan produced a clinical display to defeat Philippines 8-0 in their  AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025 Qualifiers Group B tie on Monday.

The later game saw Cambodia edge Macau 1-0.

Phnom Penh: Philippines made a flying start to their AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025 Qualifiers Group B campaign with a 7-0 win against Macau on Saturday.

In the second game, 10-man Cambodia showed resilience to edge Bangladesh 1-0 thanks to a late Daro Thach strike.

#WACFutsal2025 Qualifiers Draw finalised

Kuala Lumpur: The 19 teams aiming to earn places in the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup™ China 2025 learnt their opponents following the conclusion of the Qualifiers draw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday.

The teams were drawn into four groups – three groups of five and one group of four – to contest in a centralised league format from January 11 to 19, 2025.

Nine teams – the top two of each group and the best third-placed team among all groups – will progress to the Finals and join hosts China PR and 2018’s top two, Islamic Republic of Iran and Japan, to continue their quest for glory.
