Pathum Thani: It seemed like it just would not be Thailand's night as the clock ticked down in added time on Thursday in their AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Thailand 2023 Group A opener against Laos. 

Phongsakorn Sangkasopha crashed a shot off the post in the 92nd minute, which summed up the hosts' luck up till then at the Pathum Thani Stadium, with the score appearing destined to stay at 1-1. 

But just three minutes later, a composed passing move was finished off by Chanothai Kongmeng to see Thailand take all three points after they had knocked on the Laotian door all through the second half.
