Vienna: Qatar were denied victory as Chile fought back for a 2-2 draw in their international friendly at the Franz Horr Stadium in Vienna on Tuesday. 

Having trailed at half-time, the reigning AFC Asian Cup™ champions fought back to lead 2-1, only to be denied victory by a late Chile equaliser.

Schmidt kept out Ener Valencia’s 82nd minute spot-kick to ensure the Japanese, who will play Germany, Spain and Costa Rica in Qatar, ended their pre-FIFA World Cup camp in Germany undefeated following last Friday’s 2-0 victory over the United States.
