AFC offers condolences on the passing of Al-Owairan

Riyadh: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) extends its condolences to the family of Khamis Al-Owairan, a former Saudi Arabia national player, following his demise on Tuesday morning.

Al-Owairan, who was 46, enjoyed a reputable playing career for Saudi Arabia where he was part of the team which qualified for the 1998 and 2002 FIFA World Cups.
