Ho Chi Minh City: Australia picked up their second win in Group B of the AFF U-18 Championship 2019 when they beat hosts Vietnam 4-1, while Malaysia and Cambodia bounced back with wins on Friday.
Vietnam 1-4 Australia
Both teams were eager to follow up from their opening wins – Australia beat Cambodia 5-1 and Vietnam beat Malaysia 1-0 – but just 39 seconds in, Marco Tillo silenced more than 4,000 home fans with a fine finish from close-range, before turning provider for Lachlan Brook in the 13th minute for Australia’s second goal.
Tillo then added his second and Australia’s third with another exquisite finish but Vietnam pulled a goal back through Vo Nguyen Hoang’s header just before the break.
Australia then finished things off in the second half when Tillo sealed his hat-trick after bursting through the Vietnam defence.

Ho Chi Minh City: Indonesia and Myanmar continued their undefeated runs in their 2019 AFF U-18 Championship Group A campaigns with wins over Timor-Leste and the Philippines respectively, while Laos secured their first victory on Thursday.
Indonesia 4-0 Timor-Leste
Indonesia, who had defeated the Philippines 7-1 in their opening tie two days ago, continued where they left off as took full control against Timor-Leste.

Ho Chi Minh City: Vietnam and Australia enjoyed winning starts to their 2019 AFF U-18 Championship Group B campaign, while Singapore drew with Thailand on Wednesday.
Thailand 1-1 Singapore
Substitute Danish Qayyum Putra Shahrin Azhar gave Singapore a valuable point in their opening game when they held Thailand to a 1-1 draw.
The action was end to end with both teams eager to follow up with the blistering start to the Championship as demonstrated by teams from Group A on Tuesday, where a total of 21 goals were scored in the three matches played.

Ho Chi Minh City: Indonesia and Timor-Leste turned on the power in their opening 2019 AFF U-18 Championship Group A matches on Tuesday while there was a winning start for Myanmar too.
Group A: Indonesia 7-1 Philippines
Despite intermittent rain, Indonesia did not waste time in taking the lead with Sutan Zico stabbing home a mad scramble in the third minute for the lead.
Muhammad Fajar Rachman’s dipping shot in the 15th minute doubled their lead as Indonesia took full control, adding three more goals for them to take a 5-0 lead into the break.
Striker Aminuddin Bagus scored in the 16th and 24th minutes and captain David Maulana was also on target three minutes before the break.

Kuala Lumpur: The draw for the AFC U-19 Championship 2020 Qualifiers concluded at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday with the 46 teams discovering their opponents.
The teams were divided into two zones of WEST (West + South + Central) with 25 teams and EAST (East +ASEAN) with 21 teams.

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has confirmed the participating Member Associations for the AFC U-19 and U-16 Championship 2020.
The confirmed hosts for the AFC U-19 Championship 2020 Qualifiers, West Zone are Bahrain, Iraq, Islamic Republic of Iran, Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan.
The East Zone will see Cambodia, Chinese Taipei, Myanmar and Vietnam serving as hosts.
The AFC U-16 Championship 2020 Qualifiers will see six countries - Islamic Republic of Iran, Jordan, Kyrgyz Republic, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan hosting groups in the West Zone.
Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam will be the hosts for the East Zone qualifiers.
