It has been five months since the SPL was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and it returned with spectacular football action as it saw five winners from the five matches played.

The Al Ain forward, who recently received his UAE citizenship, said on social media that he had been in isolation and was feeling healthy, but had been awaiting a negative test before linking up with the squad.
