Kuala Lumpur: A two-member delegation from the Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) visited AFC House to discuss the long-term development plan of the FFC with various departments of AFC.
AFC General Secretary Dato' Alex Soosay welcomed FFC Vice-President Maj. Gen. Khiev Sameth and Deputy General Secretary May Tola and assured full cooperation from the governing body to the FFC's efforts in developing football in Cambodia.
“It’s an honour to have you here at the home of Asian football,” Dato’ Alex told the guests. “This visit is an outcome of the discussions between AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa and FFC President General Sao Sokha during our President’s recent visit to Cambodia,” he said.
“There are areas like coach education, referees support, AFC Development Programme Kick Off and AFC Financial Assistance Programme in which AFC can assist FFC.
“The AFC President is keen to help the Member Associations as much as possible and we are trying to integrate these with most of the development activities of the MAs,” he added.
