In a communication to the AFC dated 2 April, the PFF informed that the appointment was effective 15 February. Gastanes’ appointment was confirmed by the PFF Board of Governors during the first Board of Governors Meeting for 2013 held on 24 March at the PFF House of Football, Pasig City, the communiqué further stated.
