Kuwait City: Iraq and Bahrain advanced to the semi-finals of the 2017 Gulf Cup in contrasting fashion on Friday.
Iraq sealed top spot in Group B after a 3-0 win over Yemen while Bahrain played to a 1-1 draw with Qatar.
Defending champions Iraq will face the United Arab Emirates in Tuesday's semi-finals while Bahrain will go up against Group A winners Oman.
Iraq topped Group B with their win over Yemen but their goals only came in the second half with Ali Husni giving them the lead in the 54th minute.
Ali Faez Atia doubled Iraq's lead from the penalty spot in the 64th minute and Mahdi Kamel sealed his team's victory with his effort in the 80th minute.
