Kuala Lumpur: Mongolia will have a club side take part in the AFC President's Cup from 2012 onwards the AFC Competitions Committee have confirmed.
The East Asian nation, who recently made their international futsal debut at the East Zone qualifiers for the 2012 AFC Futsal Championship, will fill the void created after Myanmar clubs were granted a place in the AFC Cup.
Mongolia has been in the Asian football spotlight recently with AFC Acting President Zhang Jilong recently visiting the country to inaugurate an international futsal arena, which was financed by FIFA's Goal Project.
During his three-day visit to Ulaanbaatar, Jilong also met with HE Sukhbaatar Batbold, the Prime Minister of Mongolia and Mongolian Football Federation President Ganbold Buyannemkh
