Svay Rieng cruise in Cambodia Premier League restart

Phnom Penh: Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng flexed their muscles in a 10-0 win over Bati Academy U-18 as the Cambodia Premier League resumed on Saturday after the COVID-19 enforced break.

The win took Svay Rieng to 16 points after six matches played, three ahead of Phnom Penh Crown, who play Visakha on Sunday.

Boeung Ket FC also resumed their season on a winning note after a 3-0 triumph over Soltilo Angkor FC.

In Saturday's final match, Kirivong Sok Sen Chey defeated National Police Commissary 4-1.

Saitama: There was no winning start for defending champions Yokohama F. Marinos as Ange Postecoglou's side were held to a 0-0 draw by Urawa Red Diamonds as the J. League's first division resumed on Saturday.

The long lay-off - the season was suspended after just one round of fixtures played in February - clearly affected both sides as they struggled to find their rhythm behind closed doors at the Saitama Stadium.

Australia's Kyah Simon joins Dutch club PSV

Sydney: Matildas’ forward Kyah Simon has been signed by Dutch side PSV for the Eredivisie Vrouwen season. 

Simon joins the current Eredivisie leaders following an all-conquering season with Melbourne City in the W-League.

The move to the Netherlands will be Simon’s first stint in Europe after spending the last eight years traversing between Australia and the United States.
