Al Hilal snap up Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio

Paris: Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal SFC announced on Wednesday they had signed Serbia midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio on a three-year deal.

Milinkovic-Savic becomes the third big-name arrival at Al Hilal over the past month after the four-time Asian champions brought in Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly from Wolves and Chelsea respectively in June.

Japan's 'King Kazu' extends Portugal deal

Tokyo: Kazuyoshi Miura will continue playing aged 56 after the former Japan international extended his loan deal with Portuguese second-division outfit Oliveirense.

Oliveirense said on social media that the forward, who has made three appearances for the club after joining from Japan's Yokohama FC in February, will stay with them next season.

Rapinoe nervous but excited ahead of tilt at third title

Auckland: United States veteran Megan Rapinoe admitted on Wednesday she was feeling nervous but is determined to enjoy her last FIFA Women's World Cup and sign out with a third title.

Rapinoe announced at the weekend that she will retire at the end of this season, completing a career that has already brought two World Cup crowns.
 
She can make it a third when the tournament kicks off next week in Australia and New Zealand.
