Legendary Ji So-yun signs for WK League's Suwon

Suwon: Korea Republic women’s national team icon Ji So-yun will play club football in her homeland for the first time in her glittering career after her move to Suwon FC was confirmed on Tuesday.

A six-time FA Women’s Super League champion with Chelsea, Ji, 31, will join the club midway through their 2022 WK League campaign, where they will look to challenge title holders Incheon Hyundai Steel Red Angels for domestic supremacy.

Asia's young talents learn qualification opponents

Kuala Lumpur: The qualifying cast for the AFC U17 Asian Cup Bahrain 2023™ Qualifiers was finalised on Tuesday.

A total of 44 participating Member Associations (MAs) were divided into 10 centralised qualifying groups, six of which will feature four teams, while four groups will include five sides when the Qualifiers take place from October 1 to 9, 2022.

AFC Futsal Asian Cup Kuwait 2022™ official draw heralds return of futsal in Asia

Kuala Lumpur: The official draw ceremony of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup Kuwait 2022™ in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Thursday (May 26) at 3pm (GMT+8) will set the stage for the return of top-flight Continental futsal after a four-year hiatus caused by the pandemic. 

After an intensive round of qualifying battles, the draw will reveal the opponents of Asia’s 16 teams who will compete for futsal’s grandest prize at the showpiece, staged in West Asia for the first time after 10 years, from September 27 to October 8, 2022.
