Cklamovski named Malaysia head coach

Kuala Lumpur: The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) announced the appointment of Peter Cklamovski as head coach of the national team on Monday.

Cklamovski replaces interim head coach Pau Marti, who stepped in following the departure of Kim Pan-gon.

Hong Kong: Former Avispa Fukuoka head coach Shigetoshi Hasebe will lead Kawasaki Frontale into the remaining league phase matches of the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2024/25 after the 53-year-old was appointed to replace Toru Oniki at the club’s helm.

Kuala Lumpur: Reigning AFC Coach of the Year Go Oiwa will continue to lead Japan’s U23 team for the next four years while Denmark’s Nils Nielsen has been named the country’s new women’s national team head coach, the Japan Football Association has announced.

Oiwa, who was named the continent’s top coach after steering Japan to the AFC U23 Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ title earlier this year, has extended his contract until the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
