Kuala Lumpur: The Head Coaches of the top 20 countries who took part in the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011 are expected to attend the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011 Conference on 30 November-2 December 2011 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The 20 invitees include the Head Coaches of the top four nations in the January finals – champions Japan, runners-up Australia, third place winners Korea Republic and fourth-placed Uzbekistan.
The four Head Coaches or their representatives will give presentations during a special session entitled “The Asian Cup – Top Four Review” on the second day of the first ever Asian Cup Conference.
Their teams’ preparations and performances will be the main topic of their presentations which are hoped to provide examples of the best national football in Asia as an impetus for better on-field performance for all Asian national teams.
The Conference’s eye opening programme will also include presentations on the structure and outcomes of the 2011 tournament, future tournament proposals, refereeing matters, technical and tactical impressions, medical findings and technical recommendations.
Japan beat Australia 1-0 in the final which saw the Land of the Rising Sun clinching its fourth Asian Cup title while Australia lost the chance to win its first ever title in an Asian tournament, having won three Oceania titles.
