Sydney: Australia Head Coach Graham Arnold has included several uncapped and emerging players among the 31 he has selected to attend his first training camp, which will be held in Antalya, Turkey next week.
The first squad of Arnold’s tenure sees new blood including Ben Garuccio, Kenneth Dougall, and Awer Mabil rewarded for their sound performances for their respective clubs in Europe, and also includes recalls to the senior men’s national team space for Bailey Wright, Mustafa Amini, Mitchell Duke, Apostolos Giannou, Ajdin Hrustic, Mitchell Langerak, Alex Gersbach and Aleksandar Susnjar.
Dutch-based duo John Iredale and Denis Genreau, who are both eligible for the Young Socceroos and the Australian U23 team, will also be given the chance to learn off and impress Arnold and his staff as the Socceroos make use of the same high level training facilities that they did in the lead up to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Brisbane: Australia will host Korea Republic in an international friendly at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on November 17, the Football Federation of Australia announced on Tuesday.
"It is fantastic that the first match that the Socceroos play on home soil under new Head Coach Graham Arnold is against Korea Republic in Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium," said FFA CEO David Gallop.
“The last time these two teams met in the Final of the AFC Asian Cup in 2015 was a spectacular event that will long live in the memory of all who watched it.
“With the next AFC Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) only five months away, matches like this are a crucial component of tournament preparation and all players will be looking to impress Graham.
“I would like to thank the Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council and Suncorp Stadium for their support for hosting this match in Brisbane,” concluded Gallop.

Sydney: Australia's all-time leading goal-scorer Tim Cahill said on Friday he intends to continue playing at club level and is also interested in a coaching career following his retirement from international football.
Cahill, who scored 50 times in 107 appearances for Australia — including five times at the FIFA World Cup -- announced his retirement earlier this week, ending a storied playing career with the Socceroos.
Cahill, 38, said he intended to live with his family in the United States, heightening speculation that he might seek to play in the Major League Soccer (MLS).
"International retirement is done, but as for domestic, there could be an opportunity but it is still something I have time to decide," Cahill told a media conference in Sydney.
He ruled out returning to Australia's A-League, where he last played with Melbourne City.
"My A-League experience was fantastic... I felt like I had a successful time here. But to live in America and to try and play in the A-League I feel like would be impossible," he said.
