Brisbane Stadium is Queensland’s premier purpose-built football venue with a capacity of 52,500. It is rated by visiting players and officials alike as one of the best in the world.
Since it was redeveloped by the Queensland Government in 2003, the stadium has hosted 360 football, rugby league, rugby union games and concerts with more than 10 million patrons passing through its turnstiles.
Among those are two A-League Grand Finals, FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, “friendlies” against Celtic and Everton, a Super Rugby Grand Final, a Rugby League World Cup Final, 14 rugby internationals including four Bledisloe Cup games, and nine games of the Rugby World Cup 2003.
The stadium’s pitch has been twice voted by the players as the best in the A-League.
Brisbane Stadium was recently upgraded to include new dressing rooms, officials’ rooms, media facilities and a unique new viewing room and corporate facility.
