Group A: Iraq defeat Oman to revive hopes

Kuwait City: Iraq secured their first victory after defeating newcomers Oman 5-0 in Group A of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Kuwait 2022 on Thursday.

Salim Faisal starred with a hat-trick as Iraq led from start to finish for a comfortable victory to reignite their campaign.

Group A: Thailand, Kuwait share epic draw

Kuwait City: Thailand and Kuwait settled for a 2-2 draw after an epic clash  in Group A of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Kuwait 2022 on Thursday.

With both on four points, Kuwait lead the standings ahead of Thailand on goal difference, with Iraq third after a 5-0 win over Oman earlier on Thursday.

Group B: Uzbekistan edge Tajikistan to seal quarter-final spot

Kuwait City: Uzbekistan are the first team to qualify for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™Kuwait 2022 quarter-finals after beating Tajikistan 3-2 on Thursday. 

The win, coupled with Bahrain and Turkmenistan’s 4-4 draw earlier in the day, meant that Uzbekistan are assured of a top spot finish in Group B.

Kuwait City: Turkmenistan and Bahrain settled for a share of the points after a thrilling AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Kuwait 2022 tie on Thursday.

In a match both had to win, the sides produced their best but had to walk away with just a point each after a 4-4 draw to leave their qualification hopes in the balance.
