The AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2025™ Predict The Champions and Knockout Stage Predictor(“Contest”) is here for two (2) phases. This Contest is designed to test participants’ prediction skills accuracy in a prediction-based format during the Group stage of Phase 1 and in a bracket format during the Knockout stage of Phase 2 for the AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2025™ tournament. Participants have the opportunity to showcase their prediction accuracy skills and compete for prizes by predicting the result outcomes of the Group stage and Knockout stage matches. MECHANICS OF THE CONTEST To enter the Contest, you need to: Visit the website: Phase 1: https://the-afc.com/u20ac_predictthechampions Phase 2: https://the-afc.com/u20ac_knockoutstagepredictor Register by providing the following information: First and last Name; Email address; Place of residence; Date of birth; Other information as requested by the AFC. Follow the instructions set on the website or in the AFC Live App to answer four (4) questions on Phase 1 and form seven (7) brackets on phase 2. CONTEST PERIOD Fans will have the opportunity to participate in this Contest for two (2) phases: Phase 1: AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2025™ Predict The Champions Phase 1 will commence for a period of six (6) days from 17:00, 7 February 2025 to 13:59, 12 February 2025 Malaysia Time (GMT+8). Phase 2: AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2025™ Knockout Stage Predictor Phase 2 will commence for a period of two (2) days from 17:00, 20 February 2025 to 16:00, 22 February 2025 Malaysia Time (GMT+8). ENTRY REQUIREMENT This Contest is open to all individuals (each, a “Participant”), however any Participant below eighteen (18) years of age as of 7 February 2025 confirms that he/she has obtained the consent of their respective parent/guardian to participate in this Contest. The AFC reserves the right to verify such consent from the respective parent/guardian at any time. Participants should be aware that a breach of this consent requirement (where applicable) will result in the Participant being automatically disqualified. Phase 1: Predict The Champions Game Flow and Mechanism: Participants must make their predictions for the top two winning teams from each of the four groups (Group A, B, C, D). This involves selecting two (2) teams per group that they believe will advance. Predictions must be submitted before the first match of the Group stage which kicks off on 12 February 2025, 17:15 Malaysia Time (GMT+8). A sign-up form will be available for participants to register for the Contest and submit their predictions. Phase 2: Knockout Stage Predictor Game Flow and Mechanism Participants must predict the winning teams in a bracket format for each Knockout stage match-up, starting from the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and the Final. Participants must complete their seven (7) brackets for the entire Knockout stage and submit them before the first match begins on 22 February at 19:30 Malaysia Time (GMT+8). Once submitted, predictions cannot be modified. PRIZE For each phase, the winner will be awarded one (1) gift card of US$300 value as determined by the AFC in its sole discretion. SELECTION OF THE WINNER There will be a total of (2) winners in this Contest, with one (1) winner from each phase Phase 1: The Participant with 100% accuracy of predictions for all the four groups will be declared as the ultimate winner. Phase 2: The Participant with 100% accuracy in the bracket results of all matches from the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and the Final will be declared as the ultimate winner. In case of a tie, the winner will be determined based on the earliest registration timestamp. The two (2) winners will be contacted via the email address provided during sign up and will be notified after the AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2025™ tournament wraps up.
