Shenzhen: Indonesia and Yemen settled for a 0-0 draw in their AFC Asian Cup™ China 2025 Group C tie at the Shenzhen Youth Football Training Base Centre Stadium on Wednesday.

Indonesia finished third in the standings while Yemen ended their campaign bottom.

Shenzhen: Abolfazl Zamani believes Islamic Republic of Iran can win the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 title following their commanding 6-0 victory over Yemen in Group C on Sunday.

The Esteghlal FC midfielder, who starred with a brace, believes that the four-time winners can end their wait in Shenzhen, with the last of their four titles won in 1976.

Shenzhen: Islamic Republic of Iran closed in on a place in the knockout stage of the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 after cruising 6-0 past Yemen in their Group C tie at the Shenzhen Youth Football Training Base Pitch 1 on Sunday.

Iran led from start to finish with Abolfazl Zamani starring with a brace with the Central Asian side to be sure of advancing should Indonesia fail to beat Uzbekistan in Sunday’s later game.

Shenzhen: Head coach Hossein Abdi has asked his Islamic Republic of Iran side to be cautious of Yemen when the sides meet in their AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 Group C tie at the Shenzhen Youth Football Training Base Pitch 1 on Sunday.

Yemen, who have 10 players from that squad in Shenzhen, held Iran to a goalless draw before eventually falling 4-2 in a penalty shootout in the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ 2023 quarter-finals in Thailand.

With that in mind, Abdi has warned his players that they cannot underestimate Yemen.

Shenzhen: Uzbekistan kicked off their AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 Group A campaign with a test of character, having to slog for a 1-0 win against Yemen on Thursday.

Despite the difficulties suffered in the match - especially in the second half as Yemen threatened to draw level on numerous occasions - goalscorer Muhammadali Urinboev preferred to see it as a match which highlighted the belief and determination of the Uzbekistan squad.
