AFC competitions to be broadcast in Southeast Europe for the first time

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has today announced that United Media Sàrl will be their new media partner in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Slovenia from 2021 to 2024.

United Media Sàrl’s exclusive deal covers the AFC’s major national team and club competitions, including but not limited to the AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar, the AFC Champions League and the AFC Cup from the 2021 season, the AFC Asian Cup China 2023 and the AFC U23 Asian Cup Finals 2022 and 2024.

Doha: As the 2020 AFC Champions League (East) moves into the latter stages, coaches and players of participating clubs have heaped praise on the organisation and facilities offered by the host nation Qatar.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 hosts had successfully hosted the West Asia matches between September 14 and October 3, culminating in Islamic Republic of Iran’s Persepolis FC reaching the final, and Qatar was again chosen as the venue for the remainder of the competition where one team from East Asia groups aspires to join them in the final taking place at Al Janoub Stadium on December 19.

AFC announces partnership with China Mobile Migu

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) today announced a partnership with China Mobile Migu for the 2021 to 2024 rights cycle. 

The deal was led by Super Sports Media and Football Marketing Asia (FMA) – the exclusive commercial partner of AFC competitions for the rights cycles 2021-2024 and 2025-2028.
