Bangkok: The Futsal Club Licensing and Planning Workshop was successfully held in the Thai capital with representatives from 14 clubs, the Thai Futsal League administration and local Football Associations in attendance.
The workshop organising AFC/FIFA team was welcomed by General Secretary Pol. Lt. Gen. Pisan Chuldilok of The Football Association of Thailand.
“It’s a great honour for me to welcome the AFC/FIFA delegation to Thailand for the AFC Futsal Club Licensing and Planning Workshop 2017,” he said.
“Futsal has a proud history in Thailand and has recorded many successful stories of our achievements in a short span of time.
“We are constantly looking to build forward on a strong foundation that we have established and this workshop will be the stepping stone in growing futsal further and stronger.
“The 14 futsal clubs from the Futsal Thai League will benefit greatly from this workshop as there is an increase in need for them to become more professional and stay consistent with the best practice in the professional game, he added.
He also thanked AFC for choosing Thailand as one of the earliest destinations in conducting this programme and FAT will give its support and commitment in ensuring the implementation of Futsal Club Licensing here.
The FA of Thailand will commit to play a leading role for the AFC in its futsal ambition and hopes that all the participants will find the workshop important and constructive.
