Doha: Al Duhail SC are on the verge of a seventh Qatar Stars League after defeating Al Gharafa 2-0 on Sunday.
The win took Al Duhail's tally to 46 points with three matches to play and with closest challengers Al Rayyan held to a 0-0 draw by Al Arabi on Saturday, Al Duhail only need four more points to win the title for a seventh time.
Al Rayyan are on 42 points while defending champions Al Sadd are third on 35 with a match in hand.
